Why Solopreneurs Avoid Their Banking App

Today, we’re celebrating!
We just launched Update 1 of our ERP for Solopreneurs — bringing Invoice and Financial Tracking to our users.

And it took me right back to a moment from a few years ago, when I was just getting started.

It was the 24th of the month.

That day used to hit like clockwork — the day every direct debit rolled out: subscriptions, hosting, tools. I’d wake up to a flood of notifications from my bank, each one confirming money leaving my account.

Even though I’d planned for it…
Even though I knew what I’d spend…
I still felt that familiar pit in my stomach.

Anxiety, sharp and quiet.

I remember one morning in particular — I got up, got coffee, tried to shake it off.

I was bracing for 4000€ gone, not because those were my expenses, but for some reason, my mind went there. In the absence of clarity, the mind guesses and most often, pessimistically.
So, hours later, I finally opened the banking app.

The login felt like it took forever.
The balance refresh was torture.

And when the screen loaded?
50€ had left my account that week. That’s it. A big portion of my fixed business expenses had been paid.

I literally laughed out loud.
Not because it was funny — but because all that panic had no real reason to exist.
The stress didn’t come from the money.

It came from the lack of visibility.

And that’s exactly why today matters.

That experience — that tight-chested uncertainty — is what planted the idea that, solopreneurs need a clear invoice and expenses tracking.

As solopreneurs, they don’t have a finance team watching their backs.
Most of them are juggling spreadsheets, guessing budgets, and hoping they’re okay.

But business isn’t built on hope.

It’s built on clarity. So, Update 1 brings:

  • A clean, simple invoice system

  • Real-time financial dashboards

  • Easy tracking of both payables and receivables, via a table

No more waiting for your bank to surprise you.
No more guessing what’s going out and when.

Update 1 is live.
Let’s give solopreneurs the clarity they deserve.
